I’m writing this post because of the influence of
Smartphones in my personal life. Sorry Blackberry lovers…. I’m excluding BB since
I didn’t pocked one in my collections yet!
The evolution of smartphones is so rapid and advanced in a
short span of time. Thanks to Internet and latest technologies. Without these
two, smartphones are just a piece of material made up of glass, plastics and weird
chips.
Let me give an example of the height of influence and usage
of Smartphone.
When I asked my friend to check the nearest place to hangout
peacefully, he used an app “City Lens” (in Windows platform) and come up with several
options! Brainy right J
Apple:
Highlight: #1 inWorld’s Most Valuable Brands
Steve job’s visionary Apple products such as iPhone,
iPod and iPad are finest devices the
world have ever seen or used. We can also say “Technology at its best”. Since the induction of iPhone from 2007,
there is no looking back for Apple. If you look at any feature, it simply looks
great. The elegant design and style, the best known hardware spares, rich and
quality app’s (Apple Store) and smooth interface are the primary, pre-defined qualities
of any Apple device.
Verdict: If you
want to taste/feel the height of technology without any concern on price, then
Apple is the finest choice.
Android:
Highlight: Open
source, brought by “Google”
Android OS is based on Linux kernel. From late 2008, Android
installed devices started to roll out and tasted immediate success in the
market. The greatest advantages are its user friendly interface experience and
lakhs of free apps available in the store (Google Play). Also, Android is the
world's most widely used smartphone platform. Android has seen numerous updates
which adds more features and fixes bugs from previous versions. Each major release
is named in alphabetical order after a dessert or sugary treat.
Verdict: If you
are looking for user friendly smartphone with good specs call outs and in
affordable price, then Android is the best choice.
Windows:
Highlight: Stylish,
refreshing, combo of techie giant “Microsoft” and Nokia
Windows phones are gaining popularity worldwide after the release
of Windows 8 and the market share increased by 3% in last quarter of 2012.
Nokia dominates the windows phone market followed by a very small share from HTC
and Samsung. The only disadvantage is, it have relatively less number of apps
compared to Apple and Android. Now Nokia acquired by Microsoft for a whooping
price, it’s going to be a healthy rival among smartphone manufacturers.
Verdict: If you
are obsessed with over populated Apple and Android devices, then go for
Windows. Feel great experience in lesser price.
