Whatsapp is the latest trend in today’s technology driven
world by any means. Right from the acquisition by Facebook for a whooping
amount, the spotlight on the app is no minimal.
Once again, the 15MB app draws attention for its latest
update. Having said that, it’s been mixed reaction from the users but many
justifies the fact that it is the most advanced update till date.
Before the update:
When a message is sent across, a grey colour tick mark is
showed up. It was believed that one tick mark suggests that the message have
been sent and two tick marks suggests that the message have been read by the
user on the other end. However this wasn’t the exact way it works but just a
mere assumption.
In reality, one tick mark meant the message had reached the Whatsapp
server and two tick marks meant that the message had been delivered to the end
user.
After the update:
It’s not grey but a blue tick mark is being showed up which
means that the messages have been read by the user. Adding on top of that, long
press on the message expose an option called ‘Message Info’ which clearly
states when the message was delivered and when the message was read with accuracy
of minutes and seconds!
So moving forward, one cannot deny by stating that the message
has not reached them or any kind of blah blah reasons! If your friend or spouse
ignores you, you have all the reason/proof to fight for it.
